It was hard to breastfeed effectively while still wanting to feed my baby breast milk, so a pump was essential for me. I have another portable pump, but this one is much quieter, slimmer, and more effective than the other one that I purchased. It's fantastic.
The pump also allows me to be more active with my baby, so I can do whatever I need without worrying whether I have time to pump and feed him.
Night Owl pumps assemble easily, and work really well. The units are relatively discrete but hold lots of milk. Parts are good quality and simple to replace.
I used mine during pregnancy for colostrum collection and now, postpartum, about 4 times per day/night.

I have the spectra pump and night owl and night owl is so handy and gets great suction and milk. 10/10 recommend.
I purchased the night owl pump at the beginning of my breast feeding journey. I also purchased a spectra for a wall pump to see if I would get more milk, like any breastfeeding mum wanting to get a bit of a freezer stash up and only being a just enough. The night owl gives me the same output as my wall pump! As a busy mum of 6 children our weekends are full of sport so being able to chuck these in my bras and from one game to the next having a bottle ready to keep going (pass to a sibling to feed) is such a relief to the car load! would highly recommend this pump and to change maintenance parts every 3 months-depending on how much you use, but you will soon tell when you need to change-and also supporting Australian made!

I initially had no intention of breast feeding but in the hospital after giving birth my midwives convinced me to give it a crack and try for 6 weeks.
My breastfeeding journey then began which came with severe physical and mental agony due to issues with latching, causing excruciating blisters/wounds that I almost gave up.
I ended up purchasing a manual breast pump and began expressing to bottle feed which ended up being just as taxing as breastfeeding itself due to the hands on and time consumed pumping (especially at 1am). Again, I almost gave up if it wasn’t encouragement from the midwives to try an electric wearable breast pump.
I came across other brands that I almost purchased but after doing some research stumbled across The Night Owl which had glowing reviews from others comparing this to the other brands they purchased and tested. So the decision was made - The Night Owl it was.
Dispatch and shipping was quick and before long I was pumping away.. Needless to say I was gobsmacked! I am officially free from being constrained to the couch, my hands are free and I can move around to get more stuff done around the house. Big win!

This was one of the best products purchased for my baby and I recommend buying the twin pack straight up for the convenience and the savings.
I have a 3mth old and had to go back to work. While my traditional pump is good, it was so inconvenient and time consuming to have to hide in a room 3 times each day! Now I can pump at my desk or even while driving to work, which has been very helpful. I have 13mm nipple size and got the inserts but actually found I get better pump just using the basic 24mm flange. The pump is quicker to clean than my old pump, less parts. And all for a price I could afford.
I purchased the mumma owl in anticipation for pumping (currently 6 mths pregnant). With my 1st bub I tried different pumps, both electric and manual pumps. It always left me tied to a seat for 30mins each pump session. I couldn't move around, and it just wasn't practical with a newborn. I am SO excited to try this mumma owl pump! I am so happy this exists! I need to be able to move around, look after baby, and do daily tasks whilst also pumping for my little one. I intend to pump and breastfeed, so this pump will be a game changer! I also had questions about the flange fit that I asked the night owl team about. After using a handheld plug-in pump with my first two kids, I finally switched to a wearable pump with baby number three. With how busy life is now, this pump has been a game changer. It’s incredibly easy to use on the go, and it actually pumps really well. The key is making sure it’s positioned correctly—if it’s off even slightly, it can get uncomfortable fast. But once it’s on right, it’s efficient and perfect for multitasking. Highly recommend for busy mums!
Fabulous pump, really pleased with it. I've been using it for a couple of weeks now and have found it easy to use, comfortable, plus I can get stuff done while pumping.
My only feedback would be that it'd be nice to be able to dim the lights on it. When I'm pumping in the middle of the night, I look like some kind of ghostly boob creature all lit up. That's really not a big deal though!

Absolutely love these hands-free breast pumps! They’re just as described – great suction, super easy to clean, and perfect for wearing around the house while getting chores done. Surprisingly great for bigger **** too – no issues with fit or suction. I definitely recommend getting a well-fitted bra for extra support. I didn’t end up needing the flange inserts and actually found them more comfortable without. Highly recommend!

I purchased this as I wasn't enjoying the experience of being tethered in one spot with bottles hanging off my chest feeling like a dairy cow. I have been exclusively pumping during the day time for my now 6 week old for a week now and the experience has been great. The pumping experience is comfortable and my output is better than my wall pump. The wearable gives me privacy and freedom to move which have been so good for my mental health with pumping. Very happy I purchased. My only con is that being rechargeable I need to plug it in to charge every two to three sessions.
Love my Mama Owl and it’s made pumping a breeze. I was using the Spectra S1 but spending so much time sitting was eating into my day and time with bub. The output from Mama Owl is just as good, if not better as I feel more relaxed. I get all my chores done while pumping and it’s easy, no more slog.

I spent a lot of time researching all the wearable options and went with this one as it didn’t have any bad reviews and all the reviews were very good. Very happy with the purchase. Great pump level 1 and 2 is enough for me. I get same amount of milk as I was getting using medela hospital pump. Can thoroughly recommend… stop researching and purchase this one! I bought the double and very happy I did.

I absolutely love my night owls. They are so easy to use and have made pumping so easy. I get around 150ml a side in 15 minutes. Highly recommend.
Such a great product, not many manufacturers have spare parts to replace them, so useful and less waste. I love the product, works so well for my expressing of breast milk.
Previously, I was storing 10mL-30ml in the freezer each day desperate to build a stash using an Elvie.
